On November 5, 2025, the opening ceremony of the 8th China International Import Expo (hereinafter referred to as CIIE) was held at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai). Themed New Era, Shared Future, this CIIE will run until November 10. A total of 155 countries, regions and international organizations participate, with Thailand, the United Arab Emirates, Nigeria, Georgia, Sweden and Colombia serving as guest countries of honor. The enterprise commercial exhibition attracted 4,108 overseas exhibitors, with a total exhibition area exceeding 430,000 square meters, setting a new record. The cumulative intended turnover of the previous seven CIIEs exceeded US$500 billion. Through the transformation of exhibits into goods and exhibitors into investors, this CIIE will further promote the sharing of China’s development dividends with the world.

On November 6, 2025, during the 8th China International Import Expo, the 3rd Siemens China Zero Carbon Pioneer Awards ceremony was grandly held at the Siemens booth.
